Bas Leermakers

Bas LEERMAKERS (NL, 1975) is head of the Technical Interoperability Department and deputy to the Secretary General of OTIF (Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail) in Berne, Switzerland. He studied mechanical engineering and has 23 years experience in the field of railway legislation and standardisation, of which 15 years have been spent in international organisations.
