Chairman R.G.S., i.e. Dutch Medical Registration Committee. The task of the R.G.S. is to carry out and control the legal system concerning postgraduate training and (re-) registration of all Dutch doctors and medical specialists, Primary Care included as well as Hospital Care. The R.G.S. carries out the legislation regarding training, recognition of trainers, training hospitals and the recertification of all mentioned above. The R.G.S. operates under the responsibility of the Minister of Health.
