Morten Rask Gregersen has more than 20 years of experience as an architect and is co-founder of NORD Architects. With a practice rooted in new Scandinavian architecture he sees architecture as an important component in creating remarkable, sustainable and healthy buildings. That implies a responsible use of resources and a deep understanding of the user's needs which we integrate into our design.
Morten has an innovative approach and has designed strategies for developing new types of care communities, housing- and care institutions, planning of age-integrated and health-promoting urban and residential areas. Among these is the award-winning Center for Cancer and Health, the first dementia village in France, a Memory Care Center in Pennsylvania, USA and the new Meatpacking District School in Copenhagen.
Morten is often asked to lecture and take part in conferences, public debates, exhibitions and publications on new architecture, and he has several times served as judge in prestigious architectural competitions.
