Mr. Stanislav Pušnik, MD, M.Sc., Specialist of occupational health was responsible for coordination of the Slovenian part of the United4Health EU Project. Under his coordination the first two telemedicine services were established in Slovenia supporting patients with Congestive Heart Failure and/or with diabetes mellitus. He is a director of the Primary Healthcare centre Ravne na Koroškem, Slovenia, employing 130 people. Additionally, he practices his specialisation of occupational health at his organisation. He also serves as a president of the Council of Association of the Health Organisations in Slovenia (over 100 Health Organisations, primary, secondary and tertiary level) where he advocates for the interests of health care providers. His other responsibility is to integrate primary and secondary healthcare levels in Slovenia following the “patient centred” model of healthcare.
